Linda Humason has over eleven years of experience as a Realtor in southwest Washington. At her previous company, Century 21 Cascade Pacific, she was presented with the Century 21® Quality Client Service Pinnacle Producer award five times. At the time, she was the only agent in her company’s office to ever have won this honor, and one of only eleven Century 21 agents to earn the award in her sales region of Washington and Oregon. These awards were given to Linda as a result of confidential client surveys sent from Century 21 corporate headquarters and completed by Linda’s clients after the close of their real estate transaction with her. When she left Century 21, about 70% of her real estate business was from repeat clients and their referrals as a result of her outstanding professionalism and client service excellence.
Linda graduated from Clark College with honors twice. First in 2013 with a general Associate of Arts degree, then again in 2017 with an Associate of Arts Business Administration Transfer degree. Linda graduated with Cum Laude honors from Washington State University’s Vancouver campus in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and majored in Finance.
After graduating from WSU, she was a mortgage loan originator at Guild Mortgage and licensed in Washington, Oregon, California, and Arizona.
An accident in 2014, while attending Seattle University’s Cardiovascular Diagnostic Ultrasound program, left her disabled, unable to complete the ultrasound program, and needing to use a mobility scooter. So, she returned to Clark College for her Business transfer degree, then transferred to WSU Vancouver to earn her Bachelor’s degree.
Over a period of ten years, she had multiple surgeries and countless physical therapies to repair the damage from the accident and become physically able to show homes again. She went from not being able to walk 100 feet without extreme pain to literally hiking mountains now.
So, she has returned to her roots as a Realtor to do what she has always loved best in helping people with their real estate needs. Linda has long realized that she is most satisfied in her own life when she knows that she has helped make a difference in someone else’s life. Even if it’s just that she made someone smile when they’re having a bad day. She treats everyone she meets with respect, empathy, patience, and honesty. She sees everyone as a human being for whom she doesn’t know what personal stresses they might be under. So, she just helps them to the best of her abilities.
Immediately after getting her real estate license back, Linda joined the Clark County Association of Realtors® Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. She is also currently a volunteer committee member for the Community Military Appreciation Committee (CMAC) which arranges local military and veteran events, such as the Memorial Day Remembrance Reception and the Veteran’s Day Parade at Fort Vancouver. CMAC also provides support to local military families and veterans. If you'd like to know more about CMAC, donate, or volunteer, please check out the CMAC website at www.cmac11.com. She is a volunteer committee member of the Evergreen Habitat for Humanity Women Build committee to help raise funds for building houses in Clark County for low-income families. She is also a member of the Association of Northwest Steelheaders Columbia River Chapter, The Fallen Outdoors Team Washington, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Auxiliary Post 7824, and the Washington Trails Association. She is a silver level sponsor for the DogPaw Off Leash Dog Parks and you can see her banners at the Dakota and Lucky dog parks featuring her, sales assistant and fur-baby, Auzzie.
In past years as a Realtor, Linda was a volunteer committee member of the Clark County Association of Realtors® Education Committee and as a loan officer and affiliate member of CCAR she was a member the Diversity Committee.
While attending Washington State University, Vancouver, Linda participated in the WSU College Access Program in which she went to Fort Vancouver High School to mentor and work with minority, immigrant, migrant, and low-income students to motivate them to stay in school and encourage them to improve their studying skills to prepare for college. Linda worked with her students monthly on studying skills, teamwork projects, and college readiness workshops, as well as weekly tutoring sessions three days a week in math, reading, and writing.
Over the years Linda has also volunteered at PeaceHealth Southwest in the emergency department administration office, delivered food to homebound seniors with Meals on Wheels, stocked and organized the free community fridges and pantries with the Vancouver Free Fridge Project, cooked meals at Share House, and was an on-call wildlife rescuer and rehabilitator with Fur and Feathers Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, specializing in the rehabilitation of raptors, such as eagles, hawks, and owls, though she also worked with other types of birds, deer, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, raccoons, and opossums.
Linda lives in Vancouver with her 99-year-old World War II veteran father and retired mechanical engineer, Harry. Her dad has his own blog website, gardens every day, and is very active in the veteran community with Linda and CMAC and the VFW, despite being 99.
She is also a fur-mama to her Mini Australian Shepherd-Golden Retriever mix and real estate assistant, Auzzie, and her gray tabby cat, Red. She loves woodworking (hand and CNC), camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking, archery, swimming, bicycling, sailing, horseback riding, playing board and card games, astronomy, and doing jigsaw puzzles.
"We are so thankful we picked Linda Humason to be our realtor. In just a few months she helped us sell our house and buy the house of our dreams. Not only did she go over and above in selling our home, she also found the perfect house for us to buy.
We couldn’t be happier and we could not have done it without her. She became more than a realtor to us through this process. She became a good friend. Linda was an excellent realtor and we would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a house."
"We are a private reserved couple with very definite opinions of honesty, integrity, and professionalism. Linda Humason could be a poster child for these attributes. Her warm no-nonsense approach put us at ease and whatever preconceptions or misgivings we might have had with regard to working with a professional realtor, Linda put to rest immediately.
She understood how overwhelming a task finding a new home can be and was able to reduce everything to a proper perspective. If we had a question she couldn’t readily answer, she said so and then proceeded to find the right answer or answers for us. We looked at quite a few homes before we found the perfect one for us and throughout the process Linda couldn’t have been more helpful, supportive, or understanding.
If you’re looking for the genuine article in the way of a realtor who cares who has your interests at heart, then Linda Humason is the professional for you!"

"Above and beyond does not even begin to explain the lengths that Linda Humason went to in order to close on my new house. It was an extremely difficult transaction from negotiating to closing. She handled everything with a great sense of humor, professionalism, and patience. Every problem that came up she worked it out in a timely manner and went to great efforts to keep the sale from falling through. She kept us informed at all times of what was going on in the transaction.
Every time I apologized for creating such a difficult and time-consuming situation, she always retorted that she loves a challenge. She was never discouraged or frustrated, or at least we never saw it. All we saw was outstanding service. I have dealt with many different real estate agents in the past, but Linda blows them all away. I will recommend her to everyone and will definitely be using her again."
Steven P. - Washougal, WA
"We would recommend Linda Humason wholeheartedly to anyone needing a real estate agent - she goes a step further than she needs to, every time. Above and beyond the call of duty. She held our hands and put up with our endless phone calls, questions, and catered to our every need.
Linda has become more than a real estate agent. She has become a friend we feel we can rely on. Moving 3000 miles, we needed a friend, and she was just that."

"Three years ago, Linda Humason helped us buy the house we just sold in Camas. She listed the Camas house and found buyers, then assisted us in finding a new home in Vancouver and arranged for a smooth simultaneous close of both properties. Linda always goes above and beyond the call of duty. She always goes the extra mile. She has become our valued and trusted friend as well as the #1 realtor for us."
Tanga C. and Michael D. - Vancouver, WA
"While I’m certainly not an expert in real estate transactions, I have bought and sold several properties, and I can say without hesitation that Linda Humason is the most professional and effective real estate agent I have had the pleasure to work with.
The transaction that Linda assisted me with was not particularly high value but it was quite complex. Linda developed a comprehensive marketing plan for this unique property which resulted in a sale. She succeeded where two other agents previously failed. This is especially significant considering the fact that I have never met Linda personally. This was all done by phone and email."

"Linda Humason was a very nice, smart, friendly person. She made us feel very comfortable with her in the process of finding our dream home. Linda was patient and had given us all the time we needed. She constantly sent us emails of homes for sale before we even sold our home and was there for us in our search. Thank you, Linda, for everything."

"Linda Humason was a great real estate agent. She did a great job taking pictures of our house and putting together a great flyer which showed all the features of our home. She kept flyers stocked and followed up with all agents. She is great at marketing the house, putting our house on the front cover of the new homes/real estate magazine. She knows her stuff and made it easy for us to understand the details of all the paperwork. I would highly recommend her!"
Wendi and Jeff W. - Camas, WA
"Linda Humason worked with me for almost six months before I found the perfect home. She drove back and forth to Longview, WA to show me homes and to put in bids. She has gone above and beyond my expectations of realtors. Thanks Linda! If it wasn’t for you, I would have never gotten into this perfect home!"
Katrina G. - Longview, WA
"Linda Humason was by far the best agent we ever used in buying a house. She makes you feel comfortable and makes you feel like you have known her for years."

"About five years ago we started looking at houses with a plan to resettle in the United States after living for nearly 20 years in the Middle East. I explained to Linda what we were looking for and that we would be very selective and in no hurry to commit.
Linda worked with us to show us houses that met our needs for the next four years. She always made it a point to manipulate her schedule around ours, as we were coming from Saudi Arabia, and was always able to show us several homes every time we visited the U.S. a couple times a year.
Although this process lasted for four years, she never once made us feel sales pressure and was always more like a good friend than a salesperson. We finally made an offer on a house, which was accepted and then started the process of establishing services and moving requirements.
During this time Linda went out of her way to be supportive of our efforts to the extent that she made contacts for us and helped arrange yard care and other services while we remained overseas - this was after the sale, and at a time when other realtors would be concentrating on their next client.
Her efforts went a long way to make our transition incredibly smooth. We are forever grateful for her efforts and friendship and would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to either purchase or sell a house."

"Linda I enjoyed working with you. I liked how you sent many homes to consider via the computer. It made the experience much more efficient. You were able to answer most questions right away, and if not then you always got back with an answer in a reasonable amount of time. Your flexibility in working with my schedule was greatly appreciated. If I were to buy a house again in the area, I would go with you again.
I really liked the after-sale service. I know others who have bought and haven’t heard a word from their realtor. You were also very patient and didn’t seem to just to sell me any home, but one that truly fit my needs and wants, which was great. Thanks for all your help. Overall, it was a great experience."
Dan L. - Vancouver, WA
"Linda Humason was down to “Earth” and very helpful in taking an interest in my Washougal property; plus watching over the place (when I lived so far away). I appreciated the constant communication and the good feeling of the interest she took in my personal problems of selling the property. She’s very knowledgeable - not all glitz and show - this impressed me! Very sincere person. This is what the real estate industry needs - more people like Linda Humason!"

"Trying to find a new home while living afar is a difficult and stressful task. Early this year we made two trips to Vancouver from Santa Fe, New Mexico, to scout both neighborhoods and home prices, and we tried to establish a long-distance working relationship with a realtor from another company. Communication, responsiveness and timely communication, was so very important to us, and we were less than satisfied with what we felt was our first realtor’s lack of time dedicated to us.
We chose Linda Humason off of an internet search for realtors in Vancouver; the hook was her 1-800 line and her lively, user-friendly Internet site. Once we spoke with her on the phone we decided to switch realtors. Linda’s enthusiasm and forceful statement of commitment to out-of-town buyers assured us that his relationship would be both professional and successful.
In the next few weeks we made several requests for Linda to preview homes that we found on the Internet, and to take photos and email them to us. She complied with each request, and helped us develop a list of potential properties prior to our third trip to Vancouver. Our time was valuable; we now had one week to find a home to meet our needs. During our visit, Linda devoted her time to us, spent long days with us, and offered useful information about community services, utilities, neighborhoods, and the like.
In one week we found a wonderful home, offered a purchase proposal that Linda presented to the sellers, had it accepted, and arranged for a home inspection – all before we caught our return flight to Santa Fe.
In short, Linda Humason provided professional, timely, personal assistance with our new home purchase. Most important, she made us feel welcome in our new community."

"We were moving from Atlanta and had fairly tight specs and timeline, and knew generally where we wanted to live. Linda got started right away and showed me the few houses that fit the criteria. I arrived on a Thursday, and left five days later with a signed contract. While we didn’t make Linda work too hard to get the sale, she was even more helpful after the contract was signed. I had to fly back to Atlanta, so Linda was instrumental with the home inspection (arranging and attending), and taking various measurements for me to assess what furniture to leave behind.
We picked Linda due to the testimonials regarding out-of-state purchasing, and she certainly lived up to that reputation."

"When I started this whole thing of selling my home I thought, “no big deal.” It was pure “hell.” I cannot begin to express my emotions throughout this whole ordeal. I did not believe for one minute how rude and insensitive people could be. Why on earth would people want to take advantage of me so badly? These “people” were the buyers, as well as the so-called “professional” people that represented them. I was at my wits end.
Throughout all of this I had Linda. If it were not for her, I do believe assault charges would have been filed against me. She was my “soothing” voice. My “explain to me what’s happening” voice. My very knowledgeable and likeable real estate lady. Linda kept the buyers and their agent from taking advantage of me and negotiated a fair price and terms on my home. Her patient and intelligence got me through this ordeal of selling my home without ending up in jail. Linda is and will be highly recommended by me to the people I know in my life."
